About Ninja Food Tours

Founder Yuma Wada

Always looking for good food!

Hello! My name is Yuma. I grew up in a family that runs a small Japanese sweets factory in the central part of Japan. After college, I was living out of a suitcase working in the US, Europe, and Asia. During my corporate life, I realized how hard it is to avoid tourist traps and discover great local food & culture without knowing the language and people living there. That’s why I started Ninja Food Tours to let more people enjoy GOOD Japanese food and learn the culture easily. We named our company Ninja Food Tours to help you be a food ninja after our food tour. I also love to see how people react after trying my food recommendations and I say “See! I was right!!”

In my spare time, I enjoy swimming and snowboarding to burn off calories after eating.
